When conducting my research, I decided to only focus on facts and statistics regarding horror movie audiences due to the fact that it was the genre which was most relevant to my project and would assist our chosen film distributor when they release the film because they will gain a specific understanding of vital information for example, the people who are most likely to go and pay to see a horror film ( in the form of gender and age groups) this will aid both parties because the audience will be able to see the movie that they wish and us,the producers and cast will profit from the revenue generated.
When conducting my research, I primarily used the site 'Val Morgan cinema network' because I could tell that it was a trusted site having researched the company and their site contained, simple relevant information. Here is an example of some of the research that I have found :
